Bloody Point Golf Club
 Don't let the name confuse you, this is a beautiful golf course. Opened in 1991, the Daufuskie Island Resort's second course, Bloody Point, earned its name from a notorious battle in the 1700's between the Indians and the British on the island's southern-most tip. Designed by Tom Weiskopf and Jay Morrish, this 6900-yard, par-72 courses was also given high marks by Fodor's Golf Digest "Places to Play", earning a shining 4-star rating from its publication. Zagat's "America Top Golf Courses Survey" listed Bloody Point in their "Best Set of Par 4's" Category. Known for both its challenge and playability for golfers of all skill levels, this waterfront golf course "Bloody Point" hugs the Mungen River and utilizes some of the island's most scenic coastal marshes and dark water lagoons. The Bald American eagle's nest on the 7th hole and the Osprey's nest of the 15th are visited annually by these nationally treasured birds.
