Forest Creek

This exclusive club and residential community located three miles from the Village of Pinehurst now has 36 holes of Tom Fazio golf with the recent opening of the second nine of the North Course. But it's the South Course that has been in operation since 1996 that has fascinated and challenged club members, their guests and area golf professionals.
Fazio had the pick of 1,200 acres of land once known as the Meyer Farm to create his layout. It has a little of everything; wetlands and water hazards; short par-fours and brutish par-fours; full carries into greens and holes with open-front putting surfaces; uphill approach shots and downhill carries; holes favoring a draw, other requiring a fade.

"The course gets your attention, but it doesn't beat you up," founding member Harvie Ward said shortly after its opening. "It's got a nice mix of holes. It's a good test, but you don't feel like you have been in a fistfight. And it's got the best greens I think I've seen."

The ambiance at Forest Creek is unequaled. It's quiet, secluded and very private. Homes are nestled on roomy lots. There is no shortage of attention to detail from the developer's side to the maintenance staff.
