Red Fox
 When you cross into the foothills of the Blue Ridge, the hustle and noise of the modern world disappear. Here in Tryon, N.C., people will take time to savor life's rewarding moments. The weather, thanks to Tryon's "Thermal Belt," combines four distinct seasons with mild year-round temperatures. Red Fox is an extremely scenic and serene course located in the mountains. There are streams and a thirty-acre lake that come into play on several holes. The fairways were built on rolling terrain and the small greens are fast. In 1974, this course was rated among America's top 100 by "Golf Digest."
