Sapphire Mountain GC
Featured in both Golf World and Golf magazines, Sapphire Mountain challenges players with a variety of elevations from tee to green along its 6,185 yard, Par 70 layout. Architect Ron Garl has worked with natural rock formations, lush forests, and natural vegetation to frame each hole amongst scenic backdrops. Garl's masterpiece is the 13th hole, a curving Par 4 that initiates breathtaking beauty from an elevated tee, then sends the player down to a valley, and returns to an elevated green. A rock-strewn creek meanders along the left side of the fairway, culminating in a natural waterfall that fronts the right side of the putting surface. From start to finish, Sapphire Mountain does not disappoint the true aficionado whom is in search of a true mountain golfing experience. The club amenities include, a fully stocked golf shop, men's and women's locker rooms, available bag storage for guests, short-game practice area and putting green. Following the round, golfers can enjoy a relaxing lunch from the grill room, while seated on the covered outside deck with a view of the course. Available lodging in the area makes Sapphire Mountain Golf Club an ideal retreat location.
